Vasco Data Security is the partner of Inside Communications regarding network security. This American-Belgian company has earlier taken over the software company Able (Mechelen) and is the market leader in the area of authentication solutions.

Companies choose more and more often authentication in order to secure their company critical applications such as ERP-software and their network structure. Vasco Data Security has therefor launched the "DIGIPASS Authentication for Windows Logon", this is a cost efficient salution for all types of companies. Next to that, Vasco also announces the "IDENTIKEY Server Enterprise Edition" for network and application protection with a one-time password (OTP) and e-signature functionality.

The principle is simple: users receive a Digipass token to log in onto a network or VPN server. The Digipass token generates a dynamic one-time password which replaces the less secure static password. The solution is very user friendly and at the same time very scalable: new applications and users can be added easily afterwards.

All Belgian banks work with Vasco Data Security in the meantime for securing the internet banking.
