"High flexibility thanks to Indis and e-commerce"

Sax is an important player as a technical wholesaler on the market of sanitary, heating and ventilation. From a modern logistical center, Sax supplies goods through all Flanders to the professional installer and their private clients on the construction site. The company has in total nine sites, and the deliveries of goods start from the central warehouses Sax Logistics in Wielsbeke. From this distribution center, 30.000 articles can be delivered all over Flanders within 24 hours. The center has a surface of 13.000 m² and can stock 10.000 pallets.

"Sax is a wholesaler with an important logistical organisation which is supported by the distribution software Indis. The modules of the Indis package have been selected specifically and adjusted to suit our company. b-inside has also programmed an interface between Indis and a Kardex application in order to automise our warehouse. This system allows to make the order processing and the transport planning as fluent as possible.
Sax is very keen on a fluent service level. Our customer service has been strengthened thanks to the e-commerce module of b-inside which communicates with the Indis software. This allows our clients to consult quotations online, enter orders and watch articles. They can order up till 19 hrs. via e-commerce and receive their goods already on the next day. Stock articles can even be ordered till 6.00 am and be delivered the same day. Clients can also follow their order during the shipping process thanks to the tracking and tracing tool in e-commerce.
