Matthys Group has united since some years the companies Matthys NV and Evilo NV. Both companies already had a solid reputation in their respective sectors and join forces now. Matthys Group develops and builds machines to suit several industries and offers a wide range of products, such as machines for food industry and the textiles sector, packing and assembling machines, etc.

A good example is our Contractwinder, a textiles machine for the contract market. The bobbins are wound to the correct length, so that the raw materials consumption is tuned optimally to limited production runs. The Engineering team of b-inside also takes care of the communication between the PC and the Contractwinder (Jobscheduling ànd monitoring), but also for the structured programming of the more complex steering of the machine itself. Via the Jobscheduling functionality, the operator steers the machine. This is done by taking into account the pre-calculation and by selecting the commands from the ERP software. The pilot project with the Contractwinder has been executed successfully with carpetproducer Lano in Harelbeke. In the meantime, these machines also work in Germany, China and the United States.
