Daphne was founded in 1962 from a family book trade. It is a future oriented distribution company at the service of the publisher and the book seller. The permanent concern is to bring the book to the reader in an optimal way. Daphne offers a large assortment of books in various styles, and represents all publishers of Benelux and France.

"Daphne has been working for over 10 years with the modular distribution software INDIS. The main activity, the distribution of books, requires suitable ERP software which evolves according to our needs. An example of this are the repartition actions: Indis calculates the number of copies per client and automatically creates the pickings to ship the books.
Daphne offers a strong client service, and a good software support is of crucial importance to achieve this. b-inside has written amongst others a link between Indis and the labeling apparatus by which suitable price labels are printed according to the client's data. By this means, the point of sales receives the books ready labeled with the end price, which results in a gain of time.
Also, Daphne works with an EDI application in order to process orders and deliveries online. b-inside takes care in this of a fluent communication with the Indis ERP software. Indis also allows electronic invoicing. A major asset of Indis is the structured document archiving which simplifies the administration. The paper archive has decreased considerably, while the electronic archive is available by a simple mouseclick for every staff member.
The processes have been developed for a better client service over the past years, and also Indis software keeps innovating. This constant evolution on both fields results in an optimal correlation which creates a win-win situation."
